A full face trim may carry an additional charge, and the basic bath does not include hair cutting or styling.

• Flea TreatmentEither a flea shampoo left on for about fifteen minutes, which lasts up to five days, or a Zodiac application, which lasts up to thirty days.
• FurminatorA de-shedding treatment with a de-shedding shampoo and conditioner and a ten to fifteen minute brush out, which reduces shedding by up to 90%.
• De-SkunkingAn S.O.S skunk odour remover shampoo left on for about ten to fifteen minutes.
• De-MattingOn an excessively matted pet the owner does not want shaved, there is an additional charge of $10.00 for every fifteen minutes of brushing.
• Teeth BrushingA basic tooth brushing with a spray applied afterwards to reduce tartar.
• Soft Claws For CatsProtects skin and furniture without changing a cat's natural behaviour. Los Angeles location only.

Good to know

Purrrfect Paws was founded in 2010 by a local family who had been grooming pets in their neighbourhood, and opened at the Monterey Plaza in Hermon in 2012. Jessica, the main groomer, went on to veterinary technician school and graduated in 2019, then worked in several hospitals to learn the symptoms a pet can present. The family opened a second salon in Walnut in June 2023.

A groom booked again within four to six weeks of a visit is 10% off, and the following appointment has to be scheduled to get it. Referring a friend is also 10% off.

Canine Spectra vaccinations are given on site. Rabies and DHPP run one or three years and Bordetella is yearly.

The shop stocks food and supplies, and the brands carried vary by location.

A pet needs to be picked up an hour and a half after the pick-up call, because of the number of pets in the shop.
