Refunds & Cancellations

Free accounts

PawsRx accounts for pet parents are free. There is nothing to cancel or refund. You can delete your account at any time from your settings or by emailing us.

Appointment deposits

Some practices take a deposit when you book. It is charged at the time of booking and credited against your bill at the visit, so it is not an extra cost when you attend.

• Reschedule 24 hours or more before the visit: the booking and its deposit move to the new time from your dashboard. Nothing is charged or refunded.
• Cancel 24 hours or more before the visit: the deposit is refunded in full, automatically. Cancel from your dashboard.
• Cancel within 24 hours of the visit: cancellations go through the practice. Call them and they will sort it out; whether a late cancellation is refunded is the practice's decision.
• The practice cancels: the deposit is refunded in full.
• You do not show up: the deposit stays with the practice. See our cancellations and no-shows policy.
• After a completed appointment: the practice delivers and bills the service, with your deposit credited. If something went wrong, contact us at hello@pawsrx.io within 7 days and we will work with you and the practice to resolve it, including refunds where appropriate.

Medication

PawsRx does not sell medication and does not offer medication subscription plans, so there is nothing of that kind to refund or cancel. The compounded medication plans PawsRx once offered were discontinued in 2026. If you were ever charged for one and believe something is outstanding, email us and we will make it right.

Provider subscriptions

Paid provider tools (when offered) are billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled online at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Fees for a started billing period are not prorated.

How refunds are issued

Refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically appearing within 5–10 business days. Payments are processed by Stripe.
