The solution
PawsRx is a technology platform that connects pet owners with independent licensed veterinarians and accredited compounding pharmacies to make pet medication affordable and accessible. Pet owners fill out a health questionnaire, an independent licensed veterinarian reviews it and writes a prescription if clinically appropriate, and a compounded medication is shipped directly to their door. PawsRx does not practice veterinary medicine and does not employ veterinarians.
Compounded medications use the same active ingredients found in commercially available drugs but are custom-formulated for your pet's specific needs — the right dose, the right form, and a flavor they'll actually take. Because they're compounded rather than mass-manufactured, they're often more affordable. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not identical to commercially manufactured products.
Our clinical care is provided by independent licensed veterinarians through our veterinary network partner. Medications are compounded by independently licensed, PCAB-accredited pharmacies. PawsRx owns the technology, the brand, and the customer relationship — making the entire experience seamless for pet owners.
