How PawsRx works
Three simple steps to affordable, licensed veterinary care — without leaving your couch.
Step 1
Tell us about your pet
Start by filling out our simple health questionnaire. It takes about 5 minutes and covers your pet's symptoms, medical history, breed, weight, and any current medications. This gives our veterinarians the complete picture they need to make an informed clinical decision.
- Basic pet information (breed, age, weight)
- Current symptoms and how long they've been present
- Previous vet visits and diagnoses for this condition
- Any medications your pet is currently taking
Step 2
A licensed vet reviews your case
Within 24 hours, a US-licensed veterinarian reviews your pet's complete health profile. If a prescription is appropriate, they'll write one tailored to your pet's specific needs — the right medication, the right dose, the right form.
- Review by a licensed veterinarian (not an algorithm)
- Personalized prescription based on your pet's weight and condition
- Vet may follow up with questions if they need more information
- You'll receive an email notification once the review is complete
Step 3
Medication delivered to your door
Once prescribed, your pet's compounded medication is prepared at a PCAB-accredited pharmacy and shipped directly to you. Choose from flavored chews, liquids, or transdermal gels — whatever works best for your pet. Refills ship automatically so you never miss a dose.
- Compounded at PCAB-accredited pharmacies
- Available in flavors your pet will love (tuna, chicken, beef, and more)
- Free shipping in discreet packaging, 3–5 business days
- Automatic refills — cancel or pause anytime
