What the Breakroom is

A forum for the people who work in vet clinics: veterinarians, vet techs, students, practice managers and everyone else on the floor. It is open to read without an account, and posting needs only a free one. Each employer has its own channel, opened with what that employer's own job ads say about pay and benefits, so what people say sits next to what the ads promise.

Nobody's name shows. A post shows the role and only what its author chooses to add: the employer group, years in the field, and the region. Never a name, never a hospital. A post that names or describes a person is read before it goes up.

Adding your pay is the one thing that checks a license, against the state board's public list. A member who has done it shows "License checked" on what they write. The comparison of your pay against job ads is free and never sold to employers. PawsRx runs the Breakroom and does not employ or represent anyone who posts here.
