Good to know
Full-service grooming only. There are no self-wash tubs and every service is done by the grooming team.
A first visit starts with a consultation about the dog's coat, health history, vaccinations and the style you want. Dogs need to be up to date on rabies, parvovirus, distemper and hepatitis, and proof may be asked for.
Arrive ten minutes early so your pup can settle in. The groomers ask that you not stay in the room, because most dogs relax more easily when they cannot see their owner.
Puppies usually come in around twelve to sixteen weeks, after the last round of vaccinations. Short-haired coats are groomed every four to six weeks, double coats monthly, and curly or wavy coats every month to keep them from matting.
A severely matted coat may have to be shaved for the dog's comfort, and if fleas turn up during the appointment a flea bath may be added.
