Fritzy's comes to you with a full salon on wheels, so there is no drop-off, no pick-up, and no waiting room full of nervous dogs and cats. You do not have to be home for the appointment.

The van is fully self-contained, carrying its own water and power. The utility area at the rear holds the fresh and used water tanks, the plumbing and the power distribution. The center section is the salon: a warm-water hydrotub on one side for the bath, and a grooming station with a hydraulic table, a drying blower and a ClipperVac.

Grooming one pet at a time in a private van is less stressful than a shop. The groomers are trained and certified in CPR for dogs and cats, and the products are gentle and all natural.

Appointments are usually worked into the schedule at a home or an office within 24 to 48 hours.

Every pet being groomed needs a current rabies vaccination. Fritzy's does not use tranquilizers of any kind, and will decline a pet that would be a danger to itself or to the person handling it, including a cat that cannot be taken out of its carrier or a dog that will not take a muzzle. Shaving a matted coat can expose sores and tender skin underneath, and clippers are more likely to nick irritated skin no matter how slowly the work is done.
