Good to know

In 2007 Linda Hudson and Debbie Parker bought a small grooming business and renamed it The Dog Zone. It has since grown to more than 3,000 square feet, added cat grooming and a retail area, and the staff have more than 115 years of combined experience, from the smallest kitten and chihuahua to the largest Wolfhound, Doodle and Maine Coon.

The grooming tables lower to the floor and the tub lifts and lowers for pets that are old or infirm. The team watches for anxiety, medical issues or anything else of concern during every visit, and works on building trust with each pet, since grooming is not natural for animals and each visit is a chance to show them there is nothing to fear.
