Good to know
Overall Pet Salon is a one-on-one salon: your pet is the only animal in the room for the whole appointment, which keeps the visit calm for dogs and cats that find grooming stressful.
The stylist, Maren Dougherty, works with a cooperative-care approach, guiding each animal through the groom and building trust over visits.
New clients join a waitlist through the salon's form; returning clients can book online. A free 20-minute meet and greet lets a pet see the space and meet the stylist before a first groom.

Cat brushes
Long-haired cats mat first behind the ears, under the legs and on the belly. Short, frequent sessions tend to go better than one long one.
