Good to know
KLC Kennels is a family-run grooming and boarding shop on Millville Avenue. The owner grew up in the shop as her mother's bather and has run it on her own since, 39 years at the same location.
Cats are welcome, including badly matted cats: mats are worked out where that is kind and clipped down where not. Cats should be booked ahead so they get a quiet slot. Dogs can walk in for a bath.
Book by call, text or the contact form. The owner says she will work with families when money is tight.

Cat brushes
Long-haired cats mat first behind the ears, under the legs and on the belly. Short, frequent sessions tend to go better than one long one.
