A private second-floor studio above Olive & James Café, entered near Blush Salon on Melrose; if you cannot find parking, text for the concierge service. Every dog is worked one on one, the products are USDA Organic, and the groomer is Fear Free and AKC S.A.F.E. certified in disease and sanitation, specializing in geriatric, oncology and rehabilitative grooming. English and Spanish spoken.
Booking is three steps: register once (it covers every dog you own now or later), send proof of vaccines, then book. Every dog must have had its puppy booster shots at some point; the proof can be old.
A reminder call goes out the day before, and appointments are held for 15 minutes past the drop-off time. When the groom is done you get a text or call and 30 minutes of daycare at no cost; after 35 minutes daycare rates apply. Matted coats may need to be shaved, at an additional fee, a flea bath of $15 to $25 by size is added if fleas are found, and a dog that needs a muzzle may be charged a higher fee.
Pick-up and drop-off runs within a 10-mile radius of 90008 or 90046, and boarding is kennel-free, either with the family's own pack or a private slumber party at the studio.
