Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital

Founded in 1922, the hospital says it has cared for pets in the Los Feliz and greater Los Angeles area for over a century. It is AAHA-accredited, which it describes as "a distinction held by less than 15% of veterinary hospitals across the U.S. and Canada," and says it is re-evaluated every three years. Beyond general practice it lists echocardiograms read by a board-certified cardiologist, abdominal ultrasounds and orthopedic surgery, and its medical director Dr. Emily Talwar is a Certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian through the American Association of Feline Practitioners and a Certified AAHA Canine and Feline Pain Management Champion.
