Softball grazed a dog's eye and he is acting normal: does he need urgent care?
What they asked
At a softball game and the ball grazed my dogs eye didn’t directly hit him bounced off someone else and grazed his eye. He is acting normal. His eye is not cloudy or shut. I’m not sure if I should take him to an urgent care.
Sorry to hear you're concerned. He doesn't seem to be painful based on the picture. If you notice him pawing at the eye or rubbing his head on things, it may be a little damaged. If there is swelling of the eye or around the eye, you should take him to a vet.
