Good to know

Three packages, each building on the one before; short-haired dogs sit at the lower end of the price scale and long-haired dogs at the higher end.

Scruffy 2 Fluffy has groomed in Pharr since 2010 and puts health before beauty. The salon was recently remodeled, and all grooming takes place with a clear view of every pet in the facility.

Matted or tangled coats, hand scissor cuts, express service, pets new to grooming and pets that bite or scratch can raise the price.

Walk-ins are taken when there is time and kennel space, but booking at least 24 hours ahead helps the salon finish on time. The cat groomer works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There is no boarding or daycare, and no pick-up or drop-off.

The salon lists its hours as Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
