Good to know
Sandy Tlacuilo opened the shop in 2001 after grooming at Pet Stop on the Upper East Side. She is certified by the New York School of Grooming and trained her staff herself, and the shop is licensed by New York State for grooming and boarding.
The shop has grown into a two-floor space with a separate boarding section. Booking at least a week ahead is recommended, and a pet dropped off in the morning can stay and play until evening.
City rules require a paper copy of an up-to-date rabies vaccination for every dog groomed; a rabies tag alone is not accepted.
