Good to know
Bring vaccination records to the first appointment; a current rabies vaccination is required at minimum, and the salon recommends Bordetella, parvovirus, canine influenza and distemper be current. Puppies need their first dose of vaccinations before a Puppy Package.
Self-wash stations are available Monday through Thursday only, based on availability, with 30 minutes of drying time included; extra time may be limited during busy hours.
A dog that arrives with fleas gets a flea bath during the groom, $25 to $30 and up for a heavier infestation; matting or poor coat condition adds a fee from $25 and difficult or aggressive dogs are $25 extra.
Late arrivals have a 15-minute grace period; after that the appointment may need to be rescheduled or, if the schedule allows, carries a $25 adjustment fee. The salon calls 15 minutes before a dog is ready and allows 30 minutes for pick-up; each extra 30 minutes is $5, and a dog still there at closing carries a $25 after-hours fee.
Blow-drying is done by hand and Spanish is spoken.
