Good to know

Hair of the Dog is a small, family-owned full-service salon for dogs of every breed and for cats, with any style done on request. The owner has groomed for 15 years and bought the business in October 2018.

Appointments are recommended so each pet gets individual attention, and walk-ins are welcome based on availability. A groom usually takes one to three hours depending on size, breed and services.

Dogs that have been turned away by other groomers are welcome. The salon suggests grooming every four to six weeks as a rule of thumb, adjusted to breed, coat and lifestyle.
