• Nervous or anxious petsWe understand that some pets are nervous or difficult for grooming or for specific things like nails. We will make every effort to work with your pet.
• Muzzle policyWe will take every precaution to complete the grooming service safely and humanely including proper use of common industry safety equipment such as grooming loops, belly bands, safety harness/slings, Elizabethan collars(cones), and muzzles.
• Grooms doodlesOodles of doodles! These sweet pooches are extra furry-they take extra time, brushing, and technique, so they cost extra too!

Goat & Bear is a free-roam salon where pets are not kept in crates, named after the owners' two dogs, Toby and Chai. Partial grooms and face, feet and sanitary tidies are offered between full grooms.

A full groom usually takes 3 to 4 hours, longer for multi-pet households. Drop off no more than 30 minutes early and pick up within an hour of being called. Posted hours are a guide and vary with each groomer's schedule.

Puppies start with a puppy introduction and can be groomed from 8 weeks, after two rounds of puppy shots. Pets that are pregnant, nursing or fully sedated cannot be groomed. Please don't bring a pet with fleas; if fleas are found mid-groom, a flea shampoo is used and a $10 charge applies. A hypoallergenic shampoo is offered at no charge for sensitive skin. Not happy with a haircut? Tell the salon within 48 hours for a free touch-up.

The salon is not taking new cats for grooming or bathing, but new cats are welcome for nail trims.
