An extra handling fee of $10 to $25 applies when a second person is needed for a biter, a hard-to-groom dog or an older dog.

Good to know

A grooming boutique on East Tropicana, grooming one dog at a time. Same-day and next-day appointments are booked by phone; for a later date, send the owner's name, the dog's name and breed, and the date and time you want, and the salon replies within 24 to 48 hours.

Dogs must arrive on a leash or in a crate. Arriving more than 10 minutes late can mean rescheduling. Pets not collected by 2:30 pm are taken to a boarding resort, with a $15 transport fee plus boarding.

A matted coat is either brushed out at home before a return visit or shaved down to start over. If fleas or ticks are found, the salon may refuse the groom or treat them with a flea shampoo for an extra $30.
