As the Fur Flies grooms all breeds, ages and personalities, with a Fear Free certified team. Every dog bath and groom includes ear cleaning, teeth brushing and a nail trim and file.

Online booking gives a starting point; the groomer confirms the price at drop-off after looking at coat condition, the haircut asked for and behavior. Curly coats such as doodles, poodles and bichons start higher. Sales tax is added.

Puppies can start after their second round of vaccines, ideally with three or four introduction visits before five months. A current rabies certificate with its expiration date is required; the tag alone is not enough.

The salon sends an update when about 30 minutes are left and asks for pickup within 45 minutes of the finished groom.

The North salon has a cat suite in its own quiet room, away from the dogs, and a certified feline master groomer. Cats drop off at 8 am for a noon pickup or at noon for a 3 pm pickup.
