Good to know

Pricing depends on breed size, hair length, brushing and styling, matting and skin condition; an additional $20 applies to matted large dogs.

A full-service grooming boutique with a crate-free, low-stress setup: pets are groomed at or near their appointment time with no stop-and-start, and big and little dogs are kept in separate sections. Dogs that should not mix with others can be kept apart on request. Curbside drop-off and pickup is available.

The stylists are experienced with special-needs pets, including dogs with weak legs, arthritis, amputations or anxiety, and two of them are former veterinary technicians. Groomers will not continue a groom that causes pain or excessive stress, and will ask before any short clip for matting.

New clients fill in a release form and info sheet and bring a copy of the pet's health record; pets should be up to date on vaccines. Appointments run Monday through Saturday, first at 9 am and last at 4 pm. Booking a week to ten days ahead is advised, and around six weeks ahead from November through New Year's and in spring.
