My cats upper eyelid on his one eye is suddenly swollen but his eyeball is clear what does this mean?

A licensed veterinarian’s answer

Hello, there is inflammation in that right eyelid. It could be trauma, cellulitis, or a foreign body causing the swelling. A vet visit would be needed for eyedrops to help with the situation was the vet determines the cause.

PawsRx pays this veterinarian for the time they spend answering questions. The answer is their own; PawsRx does not review or approve clinical content.
