Veterinary ophthalmology practice established in 1991 by Dr. Cynthia Cook, now retired, with offices in San Francisco and on the Peninsula; it joined the NVA Compassion-First family of hospitals in 2022. Three board-certified ophthalmologists, Diplomates of the ACVO, treat eye disease in most animals: mostly dogs and cats, but also rabbits, birds, pocket pets, reptiles and horses, with consultation for zoos and wildlife rehabilitation centers. Referral is welcome but not required.
