A family-owned hospital on Fenton Street in east Chula Vista, and by its own account the only one there not bought out by a corporation. Owner and director Keith Hilinski, DVM, a UC Davis graduate, has treated the city's pets since 1995 and is in the building five days a week. Daytime urgent care runs alongside routine work, reproduction services include c-sections for bulldogs, Frenchies and pugs, and health certificates are handled, which matters in a border city.
