A feline-only hospital on Veterans Memorial Boulevard, founded in 1990 by Dr. Karen Miller-Becnel, who in 1973 became the first woman in New Orleans to open her own veterinary hospital and who re-acquired this practice in 2019 after selling it in 2015. Five veterinarians practice cat-specific medicine, from 'catupuncture' for arthritis to tumor and bladder stone surgery, with cat-only boarding and hidey box lounges. Dr. Miller was Louisiana Veterinarian of the Year for 2018.
