Veterinarians in Pleasanton, CA

Out of hours. 4 of the 10 Pleasanton practices whose website we have read describe urgent or emergency work. They are listed together on the Pleasanton urgent care page. That is what a practice says about itself, not a promise it is open now, so phone before you drive.

Weekends. 4 of the 8 that publish opening hours name a Saturday or Sunday time. The rest publish weekday hours only.

Beyond dogs and cats. 8 Pleasanton practices tell us which other animals they treat. 1 sees rabbits, 1 sees birds, 1 sees reptiles, 1 sees small mammals, 1 sees ferrets and 1 sees other exotics.

What is missing. None of those 8 mentions amphibians, fish, horses. Practices that see these animals are uncommon everywhere and worth travelling for, so it is worth widening the search rather than assuming the nearest clinic will take one: amphibian vets nationwide, fish vets nationwide, horse vets nationwide.
