Emergency and urgent care vets in Pleasanton, CA
4 practices in Pleasanton say they take emergency or urgent cases. Each one says so on its own website or in its own name.
These practices describe urgent or emergency work on their own websites. That is not the same as being open right now, and it is not the same as a dedicated emergency hospital: hours change, rotas change, and a practice that takes urgent cases on a weekday may not on a Sunday. Phone before you drive. If an animal is in trouble this minute, call the nearest emergency veterinary hospital rather than working down a list.

Animal Hospital of Pleasanton
7 California Ave, Pleasanton, CA, 94566
From their website: Emergency and urgent care is available during regular hours only, and the hospital is closed Sundays. The practice asks clients to call ahead at (925) 462-7120, says it aims to offer same-day appointments for urgent needs, and accepts walk-ins for more emergent cases. It does not name an after-hours emergency hospital: the referral line on its urgent care page reads only "coming soon". For a pet exposed to something toxic outside regular hours, the site points to the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center's 24-hour hotline at 888-426-4435.
