The Shaggy Shack is a locally owned grooming salon that makes each pet's comfort, safety and style its top priority. Head groomer and co-owner Rose Hampshire has more than five years of grooming experience across many breeds and a soft spot for spaniels; co-owner Anthony Verduga bathes and runs the shop behind the scenes.

Small dogs take around 2 hours and large dogs up to 3 to 4 hours. Dogs that get haircuts do best every 6 to 8 weeks, and puppies can start at 12 weeks to get used to grooming.

Dogs over 3 months need a current rabies vaccination, as Franklin County requires. Muzzles are used only for extreme bite risk, and kennels only while a pet waits for pickup or needs a kennel dryer.
