Good to know

Scenthound Franklin is a dog hygiene and basic grooming shop: the core visit is a bath, ear cleaning, nail trim and teeth brushing, and blow-drying, haircuts and treatments are added only as needed.

They do not do breed-standard styling; haircuts are a one-length allover trim. They groom dogs only, no cats.

Appointments are recommended, and walk-ins are taken when there is an opening. Owners do not stay to watch during the service, and if a dog becomes too stressed the service is paused or stopped.

A monthly membership is available, covering the Basic Hygiene visit and a wellness check, with no long-term contract.

The shop is in Harpeth Village, near Publix and The UPS Store, a few minutes from Fieldstone Farms.
