Good to know
Rub-a-Dub Dog is a locally owned shop that opened in 1997 as Seattle's first self-service dog wash. Staff also give full-service baths, brush-outs, nail clipping and gland expression, and a full-service dog only stays as long as the groom takes.
Self-service baths are by appointment, often same day, and staff walk you through the process on your first visit. There are six semi-private stations with porcelain tubs and steps, and parking includes three spaces behind the building. Dogs that are aggressive or reactive need a muzzle whenever they are out of the tub or off the drying table.

Non-slip rugs and runners
Hard floors are where older dogs slip. A runner along their usual route gives them grip.
