Nails and Add-Ons

Spa add-ons are priced on top of the bath or haircut; nails, ears and massages can be booked alone.

Roch & Gertrude is an intimate, relaxed spa for dogs and cats, named for the patron saints of dogs and of cats. Services are by appointment only. The client list is currently full, so new clients join a waiting list; returning clients book through the appointment request form.

A rabies vaccine is required for every dog and cat, and dogs that will be around other dogs must also be current on Bordetella and DA2PP/DHPP, with Canine Influenza and Leptospirosis if there is an outbreak. Anal gland expression and ear plucking are done only with a note from your veterinarian. Muzzles may be used where needed, and matted coats may mean a shorter cut than requested, with extra time charged for advanced matting.

Fleas or ticks found during the groom get an herbal medicated bath rather than pesticide dips or sprays, with extra charges for extensive cases. Please collect your pet within an hour of the ready call, or a $10 per hour kennel charge can apply. Clients 15 minutes late may lose their slot, and if you arrive early for pick-up you are asked to wait quietly out of your pet's sight.

A $75 per year per pet membership adds a personal booking coordinator for the calendar year, two free spa services and a complimentary birthday bundle; the annual payment is due by July 1 for the following year. The salon also hosts an outside non-anesthetic dental clinic, with a veterinarian on site, on one Monday at the start of each month.

The salon is just south of Colorado Blvd on the east side of Mentor Ave, with 15-minute parking at the door and a free upstairs lot.
