Nails and Add-Ons

Add-ons are only suggested if your dog needs them, and are reviewed with you first.

K9 Klipping is a family salon that has groomed Pasadena dogs since 1983, in the Allen Center mini mall with plenty of parking for drop-off and pickup. Every dog is handled gently and at its own pace; anxious, scared, sensitive, older and high-energy dogs are each treated differently, and most leave with a cookie. The salon stands behind its work with a seven-day worry-free guarantee: if anything is not right within seven days, it is fixed free or the service is refunded.

Baths include a nail trim, outer-ear cleaning and paw-pad tidy, using tear-free Puppy Tears shampoo, avocado-oil cleansers and The Stuff conditioner. Neatening is the same bath plus a light tidy of face, feet and sanitary areas without a full haircut, and full grooming adds the custom cut and finishing. Most visits take one to three hours depending on coat, size and services, and you get a text when your pet is ready. Full grooms and haircuts need an appointment; nail trims are walk-in, clipped or Dremel-ground, for cats too.

Cats get calm, low-stress handling at their own pace, with breaks as needed: baths, brush-outs, sanitary trims and lion cuts. New clients should arrive ten minutes early to go over the pet's needs and bring proof of core vaccinations. A Bath Pass membership covers regular baths for one monthly price by size.
