Good to know

Hound Therapy specializes in the dogs other groomers turn away: anxious, senior, matted and special-needs dogs. The salon is quiet, with no cages of barking dogs, padded tables for arthritic joints, and breaks whenever a dog needs one. Groomers are trained by veteran groomer Shannon Griffin.

Nervous dogs can start with a free meet-and-greet and build up over several short visits. The salon does not sedate.

Drop-off appointments work best; book in advance by phone, text or online.
