Good to know

Groomaroo is a locally and family-owned dog care studio in Charlotte that opened in September 2026, pairing grooming and hygiene care with fitness sessions. It is women-owned and staff speak English, Spanish and French.

All breeds and sizes are welcome. Each dog has a temperament assessment on its first visit, and dogs must be current on rabies; proof of distemper and Bordetella can also be given. Most visits take 30 to 90 minutes, several services can be combined in one visit, and same-day appointments may be available. Owners may bring their own shampoo.

Dogs are closely supervised throughout and are held only briefly between services, never in prolonged confinement.

  • Lick mats

    Lick mats

Something to lick, stuck to the tub wall or the floor, keeps a lot of dogs still for a bath or a nail trim.
