FreshCoat Grooming is a locally owned, all-breed salon on Thrift Road in the Wesley Heights and FreeMoreWest area, led by owner Genevieve Sears. Doodle scissoring, double-coat de-shedding, terrier finishes and puppy introductions are all on the menu.

The salon is appointment-only and low-stress: one groomer from bath to finish, no cage dryers, small groups on the floor, and breaks whenever a dog needs them. Anxious dogs can come for a short meet-and-greet first, and very anxious dogs can have the bath and haircut split across two visits. If a dog cannot finish, you pay only for what was done.

A current rabies vaccination is required for every dog.
