Good to know

Every full groom includes bath and blowout, cut and style, nail trim, ear cleaning, eye cleaning with natural wipes and gland expression on request.

Dee-O-Gee Franklin is a locally owned pet store in Berry Farms, next to Ludlow and Prime, with a grooming salon, doggy daycare and DIY wash tubs.

The groomers use only all-natural shampoos, aromatherapy and leave-in conditioners, and specialize in doodles. Matted coats are trimmed down rather than pulled out; grooming about every six weeks with brushing at home prevents that.

Proof of Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper vaccination is recommended. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean rescheduling.

Long-haired cats mat first behind the ears, under the legs and on the belly. Short, frequent sessions tend to go better than one long one.
