Good to know
BYOD Dog Wash in South Boston is one of the family-run LaundroMutt stores, which opened the first self-service dog wash in the Greater Boston area in 2004. Owner Elizabeth trained as a biologist and zookeeper before starting the business.
The store offers full-service grooming by appointment, weekday drop-off baths, and self-service tubs where you wash your own dog with the shop's shampoos, dryers, towels and brushes. It also stocks natural dog foods, treats, toys and gear. Grooming appointments, and cancellations, are made by phoning the store directly.
