Groombuggy, now operating as Barkbus, grooms in a van at your home. The van carries fresh warm water, there are no cages on board, and the groomer works on one dog at a time in a quiet space away from other dogs.

Nails are filed with a rotary tool, or clipped if your dog prefers. Teeth are brushed with a soft brush, and the groomer reports anything they notice about skin, ears or teeth.

A typical appointment takes one to two hours depending on size and breed; a first groom or a matted coat can take longer. Someone over 16 must be home at hand-off and pick-up. Recurring appointments are available.

Dogs need current DHPP and rabies vaccines at least 48 hours before the appointment; puppies need all three rounds. Dogs with fleas, dogs that have been skunked, and dogs in heat, pregnant or nursing are asked to wait until that has resolved.
