Good to know
A third-generation, family-owned and operated pet shop, in business for more than sixty years. Alyce's parents bought the store from Clarence in 1955, when it was a combination pet store and garden center on Verdugo Road, and the shop moved to its Honolulu Avenue address in 2001.
It has grown into a full supply and grooming shop. In their own words, not just a pet store, it's a pet grooming salon: they groom, bathe and do routine teeth cleaning, and they trim nails and wings for birds, guinea pigs and rabbits as well as dogs.
