What they asked
Hi, I have a dachshund who started whining when I lifted his back end off the furniture. He is still eating, drinking, and walking normally, but I’ve noticed that he arches his back and shakes around the top of his hips when sitting. I’m worried he might have back pain or IVDD
Sorry to hear about your dachshund. It definitely sounds like there is pain going on based on the signs. I would get to a vet as soon as possible. A slipped disc is an emergent situation.
