The Uluniu Street, Kailua location of Pet Hospitals of Hawaii, a local Oahu group whose clients it says have trusted it since 1972. Makai states its species list plainly: dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, and reptiles, seen by veterinarians with over 40 years of combined experience, and it is one of only two locations in the group offering exotic pet care. After an exam, owners get a written printout of the procedures performed and an explanation of the pet's condition.
