Emergency and urgent care vets in North Hollywood, CA
3 practices in North Hollywood say they take emergency or urgent cases. Each one says so on its own website or in its own name.
These practices describe urgent or emergency work on their own websites. That is not the same as being open right now, and it is not the same as a dedicated emergency hospital: hours change, rotas change, and a practice that takes urgent cases on a weekday may not on a Sunday. Phone before you drive. If an animal is in trouble this minute, call the nearest emergency veterinary hospital rather than working down a list.
Take urgent cases in their own hours 3
Sharp Pet Hospital
7328 Radford Ave
From their website: Emergency and critical care are handled during regular business hours only. After hours the practice refers clients to Animal Urgent Care, VCA Animal Specialty Group, TrueCare for Pets and ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospitals, and offers to collect the records and follow up.
Family Veterinary Inc
From their website: This is a mobile house-call practice with no walk-in location. The homepage says it welcomes emergency treatment cases, but the site lists no emergency hours, is by appointment only, and its own contact form is labelled a non-emergency phone call request with up to a 7 day response. The site says it answers its phone as much as possible 24 hours a day, which is phone answering and not 24 hour emergency care. The site does not say where to go after hours.
Noho Urgent Care Animal Hospital
5160 Vineland Ave Unit 111 & 112
From their website: The site does not distinguish urgent care from emergency care. It lists 'Emergency and Urgent Care' as a single combined service and says staff are trained to handle emergencies of all types, but never defines the difference or states what cases it refers out.
