Emergency and urgent care vets in La Verne, CA
4 practices in La Verne say they take emergency or urgent cases. Each one says so on its own website or in its own name.
These practices describe urgent or emergency work on their own websites. That is not the same as being open right now, and it is not the same as a dedicated emergency hospital: hours change, rotas change, and a practice that takes urgent cases on a weekday may not on a Sunday. Phone before you drive. If an animal is in trouble this minute, call the nearest emergency veterinary hospital rather than working down a list.
Take urgent cases in their own hours 4
La Verne Animal Hospital
2132 Bonita Ave
From their website: Emergency and urgent care are offered during the hospital's own hours, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, closed Sunday. The site's After Hours Emergency Care page says the practice refers after-hours cases out, and lists California Veterinary Specialists (Ontario), VCA Central Animal Hospital (Upland), Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center (Upland), Marqueen (Upland), BluePearl Pet Hospital (Irvine) and So California Vet Referral Group (Irvine).
Citrus Veterinary Clinic
2317 Foothill Blvd
From their website: Emergencies are seen during the hospital's regular business hours only. The FAQ says the practice is not staffed 24 hours a day, and the emergencies page refers after-hours cases to Emergency Pet Clinic-Inland, 10 W 7th St, Upland, CA 91786, (909) 931-7871.
Atlas Veterinary Hospital
3744 Towne Center Dr, La Verne, CA, 91750-3709
From their website: The site describes its urgent care as same-day evaluation of sudden illness, pain, injury and other time-sensitive problems. One page also advertises a 24/7 emergency hotline, but that claim appears nowhere else on the site and conflicts with the business hours the site posts.
Pet Depot Veterinary Group
1941 Foothill Blvd Ste A
From their website: Emergency and same-day urgent care cases are taken during business hours only, and the practice asks you to call ahead so the team can assess the situation first. After hours it refers pet owners to MarQueen Veterinary ER & Specialty in Upland, Emergency Pet Hospital of Glendora, and Emergency Animal Hospital of San Gabriel Valley in Covina.
