Veterinarians in Berkeley, CA

Out of hours. 3 of the 8 Berkeley practices whose website we have read describe urgent or emergency work. They are listed together on the Berkeley urgent care page. That is what a practice says about itself, not a promise it is open now, so phone before you drive.

Weekends. 2 of the 5 that publish opening hours name a Saturday or Sunday time. The rest publish weekday hours only.

Beyond dogs and cats. 7 Berkeley practices tell us which other animals they treat. 1 sees rabbits, 1 sees birds and 2 see small mammals.

What is missing. None of those 7 mentions reptiles, ferrets, amphibians, fish, horses, other exotics. Practices that see these animals are uncommon everywhere and worth travelling for, so it is worth widening the search rather than assuming the nearest clinic will take one: reptile vets nationwide, ferret vets nationwide, amphibian vets nationwide.
