Good to know
TLC Pet Spa opened in February 2015 and is owned by Tish Bachert, a full-time groomer with 35 years of experience. Most dogs stay cage-free and mingle; a private area, pen or crate is available for dogs that prefer space.
New clients are welcome with dogs up to 70 pounds and start with the new client questionnaire on the salon's site. Dogs can be groomed from about four months old, once puppy vaccines are done.
Appointments take about four to five hours, and the salon calls when your dog is ready. Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella must be current. Saturdays are especially busy, and the book often runs days to weeks ahead.
