Good to know

Every spa appointment includes anal glands, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail clipping and grinding, a hand blow-dry and a bandana or bow; there is no multi-dog discount.

A two-person, queer-owned team that has groomed in the Long Beach area for over ten years, eight of them mobile; the owner also competes with poodles in grooming competitions. The van carries its own water and power and needs only a nearby parking spot, and each dog gets one-on-one attention.

Allow a 30-minute arrival window. Dogs under 40 lbs usually take about an hour and bigger dogs about an hour and a half. Double-coated breeds do best on a 4-week deshedding schedule, and recurring appointments can be pre-booked. Once you are on a regular schedule you can leave a key and payment. Muzzles are used only if needed.
