Good to know

Tails of the Clip is a dog grooming salon on Dr. MLK Jr Street North in St. Pete, owned by Lea, who has groomed for more than 10 years, with groomer Nick bringing more than 15 years of experience. All services are by appointment only.

The salon keeps Tuesday to Friday 8 to 5 and Saturday 8 to 3, or until the last appointment has gone home, and hours can vary with the season. Parking and the entrance are at the back of the building.

Proof of a current rabies vaccine is required. If your vet has prescribed a medicated shampoo, bring it and the salon will follow the vet's instructions. Severe matting is cut out safely, which can change your dog's look a lot. Dogs should be picked up within 2 hours of notice to avoid a late fee of up to $20, and pickups after 5:00 pm are charged $15 for every 10 minutes. Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check or card.
