Good to know
Southshore Pet Grooming has groomed dogs on Tampa Bay's South Shore since 2018, from a salon on West Shell Point Road in Ruskin, just off US-41. It is an AKC S.A.F.E. certified salon with a Certified Canine Esthetician on the team, staff certified in pet CPR and first aid, and natural, organic products.
A full groom usually takes two to four hours depending on size, coat and temperament, and the salon texts you when your dog is ready. Light tangles are included; dematting that takes more than 15 minutes is charged extra, and a coat too matted to brush out safely gets a shave-down instead. Anxious and senior dogs are groomed at their own pace, and puppies are best started by 10 weeks old.
Book online through MoeGo or by phone; the salon line is a landline, so calls only, no texts. Walk-ins are welcome for nail trims. Cats are welcome for nail trims too. Payment by cash, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
