Good to know
Petropolis is a boarding, daycare, training and grooming business; the grooming salon is built to be low-stress, and groomers and bathers are educated in animal behavior. Grooming is force-free: breaks are taken as needed, and anxious dogs can have longer appointments.
Most grooms take 2 to 3 hours. Grooming can be booked on its own or added to a boarding or daycare visit. Dogs need current rabies, distemper (DHPP) and bordetella vaccinations.
The facility is open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm and weekends 8:00am to 5:00pm; those are facility hours rather than set grooming hours.
