Ollu opened in 2009 as the Twin Cities' first self-serve dog wash and added full-service grooming as it grew; the grooming salon moved up the street in 2015, and Beth Lindquist took over ownership in 2019.

Grooming appointments are available Monday through Saturday by appointment. The posted shop hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday; Sunday is not listed.

The shop also runs a self-serve wash with waist-high tubs, dryers and shampoos, open 10 am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday with no appointment needed.

Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations are required for dogs over 6 months; puppies need their first round. Dogs must stay leashed in the salon. Haircut changes are made free of charge within a week of the appointment. Free parking is behind the building on the river front.
